Starting on a quick walk up 1st Street you’ll encounter the aromas of The Flying Pizza. Featuring New York style pizza, pizza by the slice, calzones and more it’s a true Italian treat. Craving some deep dish pizza instead? Head across N. Main Street for Uno Pizzeria & Grill.
For a full Italian experience try The Spaghetti Warehouse along S. Ludlow Street. With a charming interior and new gluten-free menu among all the traditional fare, it’s sure to be a dinner hit with your crew.
For upscale Italian head over to 5th Street for Roost Modern Italian. This quaint restaurant will give your taste buds a treat with entrees such as mushroom crusted scallops, asiago crusted chicken, and filet mignon and goat cheese polenta. Also take advantage of the extensive cocktail and wine offering.
A long time Dayton establishment, Franco’s Ristorante Italian is a great option for family meal with a large party.
Wheat Penny offers pizza, burgers, and more all made with a foodie-friendly flair. They have several vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options on the menu. In addition to a nice wine and beer list, they also offer unique Italian sodas and bourbon cocktails.

On the corner of 3rd and Wayne Street lies a Dayton oddity, White Lotus. Unassuming from the outside, this tiny restaurant features delicious Thai food and amazing burgers. It’s an odd combination but from all points it’s working for them.
If a more upscale Thai experience is what you’re after for the evening try Thai 9 LLC. Located in the heart of the Oregon District, this fun little joint features traditional Thai and sushi, plus a great drink selection.

Are you dealing with a picky dining companion? Try Olive, an Urban Dive. Located in an old diner, they pride themselves in providing gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and multi-allergy friendly. Make sure you check their website for times before going as several nights during the week they are closed during dinner hours.
Lily’s Bistro pairs fun, seasonal American dishes with an extensive drink menu. If you’re looking for a casual dining experience that still impresses the fussiest of guest, this would be it.
Looking for Dayton’s best BBQ? Look no further than downtown’s own Smokin Bar-B-Que. Looking for dinner after a late night out on the town? They’re open Friday and Saturday until 4 am.
