Enjoy brews with your crew at the Beerry Christmas Dayton on November 5th. The event celebrates winter ales while raising money for the Houes of Bread in Dayton.
Shopping Holiday Dayton Events
Local holiday bazaars are excellent opportunities to find unique and handmade gifts for the picky recipients on your list. The weekend of the 4th hosts the Downtown Troy Merchants Open House, the David’s Holiday Bazaar, Miamisburg’s Home Party & Holiday Bazaar, Dayton Craft and Artisan Expo, the American Legion Arts & Crafts Fair, The Little Exchange benefitting Dayton Children’s Hospital, and the Valley View Music Boosters Craft/Vendor Fair.
A great way to support local museums while finding that perfect gift, the One-Stop Holiday Shop on November 18th & 19th, is a fun event for the whole family.
Family Friendly Holiday Dayton Events and Activities
The Sugarplum Festival of Trees will light up the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering on November 13th through the 15th. Come bid on the beautifully designed trees while earning money for a good cause – the Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Bring the entire family out to the Hometown Holiday at Riverside on November 12th. Fun activities like horse-drawn carriage rides and live entertainment are planned.
The 2016 Christmas in Historic Springboro kicks off November 18th. This is a huge holiday event complete with a very merry parade, packed with shopping and family fun through the 20th.
The Dayton Holiday Festival celebrates the season Gem City-style in our amazing downtown area. Be sure to head out to the Grant Illumination tree lighting ceremony on the 25th and catch the parade! The festival’s events are scheduled through December, so be sure to check their website for the full list!
The University of Dayton is hosting another great free family holiday event, the At the Manger: World Nativity Traditions at the Roesch Library on campus from November 26th through January 8th. The event will entertain with children’s activities, music, and thousands of nativities from across the globe.
